End of last July Tom and I decided to mix and match transport riding the Mary Valley Rattler as far as Amamoor up the Mary Valley one Saturday. After a leisurely jaunt

to Imbil where we camped overnight Sunday morn we checked out the bell birds at Brooloo before a fast spin out to Borumba dam then catching the train back to Gympie lunch time Sunday.

Marsh and I spent four superb days cycling and camping in rugged country west of Miriam Vale (south of Gladstone Queensland) finally "emerging" west of Gin Gin near Mt Perry at Wonbah Winery. Scenery in abundance, showers (and water generally) in short supply, and fun a-plenty.
